Abstract

The name of Israel has been associated with illegal practices and serious violations of international legitimacy which made the conflict over the Palestinian territories receive great international attention due to its security and political dimension in the international community. Settlement is the engine of this conflict; It was taken by Israel as a mechanism to achieve and establish its existence. From this point of view, the study aimed to shed light on the Israeli practices on the occupied Palestinian territories in the context of implementing its settlement policy; By explaining the various directions it has adopted as a way to achieve this, and by studying the legal framework for Israeli settlement; By clarifying the applicability of international legal provisions to it. اقترن إسم إسرائيل بالممارسات غير القانونية والانتهاكات الجسيمة للشرعية الدولية، مما جعل النزاع على الأراضي الفلسطينية يحظى باهتمام دولي بالغ نظرا لما يحمله من بعد أمني وسياسي في المجتمع الدولي. ويعد الاستيطان محرك هذا الصراع؛ إذ اتخذته إسرائيل كآلية لتحقيق وجودها وتثبيته. من هذا المنطلق، هدفت الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على الممارسات الإسرائيلية على الأراضي الفلسطينية المحتلة في إطار تنفيذ سياستها الاستيطانية؛ من خلال بيان مختلف التوجهات التي اعتمدتها إسرائيل سبيلا لتحقيق ذلك، ودراسة الإطار القانوني للاستيطان الإسرائيلي؛ وذلك بتوضيح مدى انطباق الأحكام القانونية الدولية عليه.
